Okay, now that I have that out of my system…

Makeshift Mama is about two people – you and me. Me and you. I’m not really sure which order. But you are definitely a big part of it.

What I want to give you here is a resource of simple, easy-to-understand, conversational information. Information about being a mom, about being a homemaker, and about being a woman. Information that I’ve read in a book , and information that I’ve learned the hard way.

I’m also hoping to make you think hard occasionally, and to make you laugh frequently.

What I want to give myself is a creative outlet. A place to accept myself, be comfortable with who I am, and prove to myself over and over again that I am valuable – by creating value for you.
